History: Sugar Maple is a large deciduous tree that is native to eastern North America. This tree produces green leaves that turn brilliant shades of orange, red, and yellow in the fall.
Fun Fact: Sugar Maple is the primary source of sap for making maple syrup and is also the state tree of New York, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
